    I looked around...didn't see answer...not good.
Running Sony Vegas Pro 10, I've now found myself unable to copy clips from the timeline to a bin.
Just stuck with a renamed subclip.
    Any workaround?

Forced to make subclips, it's making 2...one in the bin and one in the All Media folder. Is there a way to just make one in the bin?

  3. save the part as Vegas project,
while loading project into another project is limited and slows down a project considerably, it might be use-full for some limited volume,
not sure what is your exact goal here

It's making two pointers....one in the bin and one in the All Media folder.
Oh well...it's just a little text file.
