I downloaded the first episode of Macgyver, it works fine as an AVI, but it was encoded at 15 fps... I want to burn it onto VCD so I can watch it on my TV.

So I thought, "No problem, just inverse Telecine the thing and adjust it to 24 fps..." That all works fine, I extracted the audio with Virtual Dub and tested it in winamp, audio is fine, no glitches.

However, when I combine the converted .m1v file (Video only MPEG-1) and the .wav file, the video is fine and plays flawlessly, but the audio is glitchy... and cuts in and out, I burnt it on a CD-RW and played in my DVD player, and same story, the audio was still screwed up. I'm not sure what to try now. Any suggestions anyone?
