So I recently cleaned my pc with a software.
I used to open .ts files in virtualdub through an .avs file.
After the latest cleaning this error apparead:
It says "Pins cannot connect due to not supporting the same transport".
It's not the .ts file since I tried to open another file I have already converted and I got the same error message.
I tried to re-install avisynth, ffmpeg, ffdshow, Matroskasplitter, and the CCCP.
I still have the problem.
Do you have any idea?

Why the heck keep people insisting in using DirectShowSource, when people with experience keep telling that it is unreliable?
Don't you have native AviSynth source filters like FFMS2 or L-SMASH Works or DGDecNV/DGDecIM which do not care about installed or missing DirectShow filters and don't need to burden your system with a whole "codec pack"? -
It says it's trying to open an AAC file as video /audio? You might check line 5 real close like it says. Other than that you might try a recent restore point or the restore function of that cleaner program. Bottom line... if directshw NO LONGER works when it used to your codecs have been deleted/changed/prioritized in some fashion.
You can use FFMS2 or L-SMASH Works or DGDecNV/DGDecIM as LigH.de suggested but if your codecs are messed up, you are probably going to have problems with other software as well and icon and thumbnails... -

Well, FIRST,make sure your path is correct as well as the spelling and special characters, etc. Most of the time when it tells you it can't open a file it's because it can't find it or it's wrong somehow in your avisynth script. Remember AAC is normally an AUDIO file and has no video so I'm pretty sure the video will fail.
Second, do you have a restore point you can go back to? This should restore your registry at least.
Next, hahahaha, I would not suggest this for fear of being burned alive here, but since you already tried a codec pack (CCCP), I will tell you what I do when a test program messes up my thumbnails, virtualdub, avisynth opens, etc. I reinstall K-Lite and everything is fine again. It also contains ffdshow which you can adjust for decoding as well as other tools.
I've never had a problem, at least thru Windows 7. I agree there used to be some NASTY packs out there but the ones now are pretty well trimmed down as far as number of codecs and splitters, etc. And one last comment. be sure to create a restore point before and reboot after because some programs don't seem to read your registry on the fly and need a reboot.
