  1. m2ts is a container (for video and audio), like mp4 is a container as well just different "box"

m2ts video, can contain avc video and AC3 audio and for example MP4 can contain avc video and aac audio. That does not have to be true, PCM audio could be within m2ts as well and other changes, it is just perhaps most common to find those particular formats within those particular containers.

MP4box muxes avc and aac audio into MP4 video container
tsMuxer loads avc and AC3 audio makes m2ts video container

Vegas should create 5.1 AC3 audio using template: Dolby Digital AC3 Pro, note Pro version, not Studio version , Studio is capable only to export 2.0 audio,
and there is a catch , if you do not have DVD Architect installed, you cannot see that Dolby Digital AC3 Pro version, only Studio

To get the whole m2ts container from Vegas, not sure now, because I have older versions, go into MainConcept avc or Sony avc export templates, enable audio in those Blu-Ray templates and try to get video and audio out at once. Not sure if it is possible in newer versions though. That is why I mentioned tsMuxer. That is a free utility that muxes avc and AC3 elementary streams into m2ts container.

  2. Alright guys got some updates about the issue..

Finally they accepted to receive the files as .AVC and separate .WAV files.

They gave remarks but not related to this at all.. it was that some of the footage used was progressive, and so it add flickers when all project is exported to interlaced (only the progressive footage parts).

so now I need to deal with another hustle lol that I hope to find a solution on here. if any one can advise for best way please let me know and many thanks for everyone who helped me in here..
