    in the svcd tut here do I have to convert the audio like I do in a regular VCD??? just cause the tutorial doesn't really tell me that.

    as far as the process of converting to SVCD goes--it's basically the same as doing VCD(exceptions being bitrates...)
    just do the audio the same way you would for VCD--of course, you can have different audio bitrates in SVCD than you can for VCD...
