Soon my son will be opening up two of his christmas presents....a "naked" laptop and a Windows 10 USB stick.
Any advise once the laptop finds the stick?
Make a c: partition first or will Windows install do that for me?

Windows 10 will install a partition so no need to make one one,just make sure the laptop is set to boot from the usb first.I think,therefore i am a hamster.
Unless something changed with Win10, it will show you the drives available (likely only 1 in this instance) and ask you how much of the drive that you want to use (ie: use the entire drive or create partitions), then it will format and install.Google is your Friend
