    Last night I was very disappointed when I couldn't get tmpgenc dvd author 3 to work on my W7 64 installation.

    Its site lists compatibility but not on this exact combination.

    It doesn't seem to work for me even if I start it as administrator and in compatibility mode. Any similar/other experiences?

    What happens when you try start it? Nothing?

    I think used it some years ago without problems. Also Windows 7 64bit.

    Nothing happens for at least a minute but eventually a windows popup window informs me that it couldn't start. Once I got a runtime error when I was trying out the different windows compatibility options.

    Before I entered the license key, it seemed to be going forward (but stopped to ask for the key obv.).

    I have a vague suspicion the language may have something to do with it. Was your W7-64 in English, do you perhaps recall?
