How can I merge chapters to mkv

Hello Friends,
When I try to extract chapters from mkv file using gMKVExtractGUI
It gives me options:
a)XML b)OGM c)CUE

Which option should I select
and with which tool I can merge extracted chapters to any other mkv file.

Wondershare Ultimate Video Converter can merge chapters into one video. It is not done by default. If you use Wondershare, you'll need to select that option to merge all into one video. Playback is superb.

mkvpropedit -c "chapters.xml" "file.mkv"

for normal use it generally doesn't matter which format you extract to. Only if you need specific Matroska elements in the chapters do you absolutely need XML, but I generally use XML anyway.

Or if you actually need a GUI mkvtoolnixGUI will happily load the chapters an save them into any mkv.

If that's not enough there's chapterEditor as well.
