I use WDTV Live boxes, but need to find another inexpensive player that can utilize a Comcast remote.
Just something that will play mpeg2 and mp4 videos from a usb flash drive.
Thanks

My suggestion would be to go the other way and get a programmable remote for the same money ($30-$40) you'd spend on a media player. Your Comcast remote will probably be a preset option and the WDTV remote can easily be added.

I've decided to try an auto HDMI switcher that accepts the last input turned on. Hopefully, when the WDTV is turned on, its input will override the cable box. When turned off, the cable box will be used. (Only $8 to find out). I have a very simple WDTV remote, so maybe that will work out. If not, will have to get another Harmony.
