nabbed one of these off ebay for a couple bucks without the cords or software disc. im wondering, though, EXACTLY what kind of power supply i should use, cuz im afraid of bricking the thing with an improper cord. im simply trying to figure out if it works at this point, but havent settled on what power supply cord i should use in order to even begin testing it.. all the specs seem to say DC 5V / 2A, but i have cords that say, like, 5V / 0.825A, so im trying to find out precisely what kind of power converter comes with the product. any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks for reading!

  2. I don't have one but looking at pictures at Amazon: it appears to be powered via a micro USB port. Just be sure to get a USB power adapter that can provide 2 amps.

yeah, thats what i was thinking.. okay, thanks.

.. well, since its just a power converter, would a USB to Micro USB just automatically provide the right amount of power?

  4. USB2 from a computer? No. Those are typically 0.5 A.

... and it seems that USB3 only puts out maybe double that.. arite, thanks a bunch, man- ill just keep looking around specifically for a 5V / 2A charger or adapter in the meantime, and hope that an owner of the product happens to stumble across this thread so i can get a definitive answer as to what can run it without frying anything..
