  1. I have several MP$ files that were encoded to play at 16:9. I want to stream them, but I am unable to change the aspect ratio when played. So, I want to re-encode them to play at 4:3. I've attached a print screen of what I have before I touch anything. What do I change to fix this?

If you want 4:3 from 16:9 must you crop left and right(lose lots of video details). You could make it 1440x1080pixels. Crop then 240pixels left and right.

But it will take time convert 1080p video....can't you find another player that can zoom your video?

  3. 1440x1080 would be 4:3.

You can recode and 'squish' The picture
4:3 is the same as 12:9
    Or you crop
    cropping to 12:9/4:3 from 16:9,
Means cutting off one third of the picture data
    Why can't you stream 16:9?
Another pc will just letter box the stream
Streaming over a network leave it as is, let the viewer decide what they want to see
