  1. I am trying to demux AAC audio data from a ts file( stream type 0x0F). is there any way to find the sampling rate and total duration of the stream without decoding the AAC ADTS stream?

    it is available via tools like media info etc.. but what I wanted was to get that programatically .
    by reading the ts bit stream..

    MediaInfo and ffmpeg /ffprobe are open-source applications.
