    i have an AVI video that plays normally till the end, but at the last 2 mins if i try to fast forward or click on any point on the seeking bar beyond the last 2 mins barrier the video ends and i cant choose any part to watch in these 2 mins, if i need to, then i have to let the video play to the end

    Try running the avi through mkvmerge to see if any errors occur,also play the mkv and see it will ff the remaining 2 minutes.
