I really love PotPlayer and the fact that it has huge variety of settings.
I'm looking for a PotPlayer alternative for Linux (or preferably a cross-platform one) with certain options:
- The skin can be hidden while playing, leaving only the video without any borders/menu. When I hover over to the top or bottom area of the player the interface shows up. (In PotPlayer: Preferences -> General -> Skin/Color Theme -> Hide main windows skin while video screen is active.) It is really convenient and feels/looks really good.
- Ability to play streams (hls...), and almost every direct media video link. Also it eats youtube links, and plays it flawlessly.
- Ability to move the whole player (window) with clicking on any point of the video area and dragging it.
- The player snaps to the edges/windows.
The last two is not that important but would be really good.
Basically these are pretty specific things, most of other settings are common in almost every player.
I would be really happy if anyone could help me with an alternative.
Thanks in advanced!

I use Xplayer without issues....Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
Thanks, I will tweak around with some players, maybe one of them can do the settings I need.
Racer-x: I'll try Xplayer, thanks. It's not about issues, it's about certain preferences.
