  1. Hello folks,

After getting tired of dumb/risky/aggresive drivers in my neighborhood, I have decided to waste my time in editing my dashcam videos and put them on YouTube. In the past, I have used Premiere extensively to edit my home videos but now I do not have access to it anymore so looking for freeware utilities, GUI based please, to do the job.

    I don't need fancy stuff.
I need one to cut the clips, I will use Avidemux.
I need one to zoom in on the license plate
I need one to add burned in subtitles/comments on the videos.

Google gives some applications from Wondershare and stuff like that. I am not too sure if they are malware free, so asking for suggestions here.

    Many thanks in advance.

Try AVIDemux, it's freeware and a decent editor. Zooming in on a license plate may not work that well, depending on your video file and
your dashcam resolution. But give it a try.

Putting your videos on YT may draw down some wrath on you. Be careful.
We don't really recommend Wondershare here.
