In the past I downloaded successfully occasionally videos from YouTube with the Firefox AddOn VideoDownloadhelper.
This seems to work not more for VP9 encoded videos.
Some users recommend to install an additional converter.
I don't want to install such a converter!
How else can I download VP9 videos from Youtube?
I think there must be another tool (for Win7)
Thank you

I like this addon. Lets you download H.264(MP4) or VP9(WEBM).
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-video-and-audio-dow/?src=userprofile
Might have to download the audio and video separate and mux them together with MKVTools. -
IMHO best add-on for FF http://www.cys-audiovideodownloader.com/
You can use also very good (best command-line tool IMHO) https://www.videohelp.com/software/youtube-dl
