Hi, someone must be able to help?
Maybe I'm thick or something, and it's staring me in the face, i'm trying to encode/compress a dvd using the robshots.com / doom9.org guide.
I follow everything, Edit the settings as it says to, o.k out of the settings page, click encode, and create the .ecl file, but then what? i can't figure out what to do then, that is meant to take "hours" of encoding, and reduce the file size![]()
Sorry if its blindingly obvious, can anyone tell me?
I'm using the 2.64 trial version if it makes a difference.
Thanks

no one got any ideas?
It looks like cce has just created a .mpv file thats only 0 bytes in size.
Tried changing settings, still no progress.
No one else had this problem?

I am experimenting with CCE,I am not an expert.
If you got a mpv file you can rename that file to mpg and then you can be able to play it,..I did some test and the quality is great....to encode 2 minutes took like 11 minutes, wich is the avarage,I have just a pentium 566 mhz,32 video memory and 256 ram...
good luck..Rigo.F
