Hi
I'm going to spend some money to buy dedicated server(s) for video encoding
Which one is good for encoding?
1. 1 x (Intel® Core™ i7-6700 | 32GB Ram | 2x500GB SSD) = $40
2. 2 x (Core™ i7-920 | 160GB Ram | 2TB Sata) = $40
Which one is better? One i7-6700 cpu vs two i7-920 (disturbed encoding) ?

I would go with the first one with the "i7-6700". RAM looks like more than enough, and the storage is good if you think that's enough. But the i7- 6700 is quite a bit better than the i7-920.

The i7-920 has no support for DDR4 ram, and no hardware encoder (should you decide to explore that).
