    Using Virtual Dub I cannot extract the sound from divx's ...

    When I do a file info I get these specs

    Audio Compression = Unkown (tag 2000)


    How do I extract the Audio from these Avi's?


    The other type I have no problem with...

    Search Comp PM
    Load AVI into Vdub 1.49, select Video > scan video stream for errors
    Now select video streaming and audio streaming. and save as, save out another movie2.avi and use that to convert

    Your audio problem may now be fixed.

    If not try installing Nimo Codec pack
