I recently updated my OS to Windows 7 Pro. I had previously been able to import AVCHD video footage from my camcorder to Picasa under my old OS (Win 7 HP)
without any problem...
But now, upon re-installing Picasa v. 3.9 (yes, I know Picasa support has been discontinued), the program won't complete the Import process (from a folder on another HD, in this instance) as it should.
Picasa will Copy the AVCHD files OK and then indicate Acquired, but when I select Import All--nothing happens!
This is a mystery indeed!
If no solution is found, is there a good Open Source (non-Cloud) photo/video album utility I can substitute for Picasa?
