  1. I hope you guys can help me. I have been trying alot to get this right.
Ayt I used StreamVCR to get videos from LAUNCH! and download them to .ASF format. Right now they are in .asf format. I tried to use TMPEGENC to convert the .asf to .mpg. When done. The picture comes out perfect but the sound is only for 2 seconds then fades out. But the video is coming but no sound! :( Ok then I look for other guides on the site: I try with VirtualDubb and when I try to open any .asf file that I have this comes up:
"The ASF file is 9507129 bytes long, but was originally 9508739 bytes when encoded. It may have been truncated or corrupted. Open file anyway?
    YES NO
    I click on Yes.
Then the virtualDub program failure come up and says the Crash reason is FP Invalid Operation. Then I have to restart it and the same thing happens to all the videos. (I have around 19 music video all from LAUNCH!) So VirtualDub does not work for me. This is what the guide writes:
    "Problems
If you have problem open ASF or WMV be sure to use Virtualdub 1.3c because newer versions don't support ASF/WMV. "
I have Virtualdub 1.3c like it says. And then it says:
"You can also use dBpowerAmp Music Converter to convert the audio in the video to wav file, just open the video and save it as wave."
So I download the dBpowerAmp Music Convertor. I got to open the video but it does not read .asf files. What now? I am stumped. But I need this done. Can you please help me out? This took me a long time to write. But hopefully it will be worth it when you guys help me out. The music video cd is a gift for my brother so ASAP would be nice.
