If I have a capture card that can accept a 1080p60 feed with 8-bit color depth, but my source is at 10-bit color depth (4k tv broadcast) is there anyway to reduce the color depth to 8 bit to feed it to the capture card? I am looking for something cheaper than the HDFury Linker if possible.

It shouldn't be a problem. Since many displays only accept 8-bit the TV receiver should be doing the conversion to 8 bit automatically (preferably with dithering). 8 bit is the lowest common denominator on HDMI.
