    I record videos with Shadowplay, the video capture tool that comes with Nvidia graphics cards, but I am not able to find anywhere online if the audio codec is AAC or not. Anyone know?

    According to this test posted online, it's AVC/AAC.

    I use Handbrake to transcode the video ONLY to make smaller files and use Auto Passthru to leave the AAC audio alone, but according to before and after files on MediaInfoXP, there ARE changes to the audio! Why?
