Hey guys, do you know if there is a way in Premiere to paste a specific clip with a shortcut?
Here is the thing: When I edit I usually have the main sequence where I edit the video.
I have also another sequence where I have a few short clips that I copy and paste when I need them in my main sequence.
So everytime I need one of these clips I have to go to their sequence, copy the one I need and paste it to my main sequence (very annoying/time-consuming).
Is there a way I can make premiere or another software (i'm on a mac) to paste each clip with a shortcut?
So that when I am in the main sequence I hit ctrl+1 and it pastes clip1; I hit ctrl+2, I get clip2 etc..
Thanks!

You could try a mac macro software which would probably take you a few hours to write and debug (search to clip, select clip, tab to correct timeline, paste clip...)
But why not just break your short sequence into its component subclips, you can even put them into their own folder, and drag and drop them into your timeline as needed?
