  1. Is there any tool or script that periodically logs the disk space you have left? I tried FolderSizes but it asks me to schedule an exact, specific time which is useless when my computer is shut down. I need it done once a day, no matter what time it is. Also, the software is not free.

    dir c: | find "free" >> c:\freelog.txt
    will add the text "N Dir(s) N bytes free" for the specified drive to the specified text file. You could run this command once a day from the Task Scheduler with "Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed" checked.

    What is the desired goal? ie: do you actually need a record/log for some reason, or do you simply want to see how much space is used/available?
