    I would like to know if there is a way to disable the auto rewind feature.

    There is no such user setting. You could cover the end-of-tape sensor, but then you'd need to experiment carefully to see if the deck stops the transport without damage to itself or the tape.

    any other way besides that? I feel that is risky...
