help with sony hvr-z7e and mrc-1

hi all
i am using a sony hvr-z7e with a mrc 1 card recorder on it
every time i record to the card and i use the footage in premiere pro there seems to be a second or so audio and video missing
at the end of eace scene the recorder creates.....i am using sandisk 800x 32gb cf cards
must it be like that or is my system not setup propperly

i now record to the tape and card not to miss the video and audio.

please help

I bet it is 1/2 second (1 GOP in HDV.) As these products are discontinued and not going to be "fixed," just keep rolling a few seconds after your action is finished. That's always a good practice anyway.
