    I have a complete season 6 in mp4 format and would to split/cut into 25min segments and save those files, what is the efficient way of doing this? then convert to mkv! John

    Have you tried mkvtoolnix? It can open mp4 files, split and output them to mkv in a single step. (See splitting options in the "Output" tab of the GUI.)
