  1. Hi Everyone, I'm new to the video editing side of things, I've been running a YouTube channel for a few months but all I've been posting are previous livestream videos from Twitch so it's a straight forward export.

Today I've tried to create my first video not from a live stream. I've recorded a game from my Xbox through an Elgato HD Pro capture card, all seemed to go fine. I must add that I've recorded the commentary during the video and not seperately.

I've come to edit my video using Hitfilm 4 Express and noticed that as the video goes on the Audio gets further and further in front of the video so it sounds like I'm commentating on things that havent happened yet and by the end of the video there's about a minute of silence where the audio has ended early. but by this point the video also seems to be going in fast forward.

Can anyone help me with this so I can upload this video to YouTube?

I don't have HitFilm installed, but there should be a way to time-stretch the video or audio to make it in sync. Search the manual for directions.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. Thanks for your reply, It was a free download so doesn't come with a manual and the support section of their website isn't particularly user friendly.

Think I might be better with Sony Vegas?
