    Greetings.

    I am using Microsoft outlook 2003. I have created one pst file. Now i can not open it because get the following error: pst is not a personal folder

    Does anyone have an idea as to what may be causing this?
    How to make microsoft outlook 2003 fix ?

    run outlook click file open and choose the pst. if outlook can't open it, it's probably screwed up.

    Outlook usually comes with a pst/ost file repair utility. Run it through that and see what happens.

    Same utility mentioned in pandy's link: scanpst.exe (i just didn't fully trace down & read through the link before posting). Comes with every install of outlook since at least 2000 til now.
    If that doesn't work, you are SOL (unless you've got $$$ to burn).

  8. Hello Kelly.
    Use scanpst.exe to check the pst file for errors. The location of scanpst.exe depends on your version of Outlook and Windows. When scanpst.exe is unable to fix it there might have been some serious corruption in the pst file. There are some recovery softwares available like Outlook Fix Toolbox https://www.fixtoolbox.com/outlookfix.html
