Pot Player Won't Time Jump/Fast Forward for Certain Movies

For some reason, Pot Player won't fast forward or do time jump via slider on certain movies. It will play the movie, but not allow fast forwarding. The display for current position/total time is 00:00/00:00. Furthermore, I can't resume to the last point played as I can with content that the player functions correctly. What I find strange is that if I use an alternate video player, such as GOM or Zoom Player, the fast forwarding/time jump functionalities are OK. Not sure if this would somehow corrupt files, but I use Media Center Master as my file data fetcher.

For reference, I use Handbrake with DTS pass through and Freemake Video Converter to re-encode large movie files down to more manageable sizes. Found out that GOM player also hangs on the same files that POT player won't time jump/fast forward HOWEVER Zoom Player is unaffected. Any ideas why one media player is reading the track position/total running time and the others won't??
