  1. I am looking for a Video Converter that uses the Handbrake engine. VidCoder is good but I am looking for something that does AVI encoding but with the same options as Handbrake etc

    LOL! And I am looking for a video converter to make coffee with the toaster! Avi is an (obsolete) container. You can change the container with other software, like Avidemux.

    HandBrake is an MPEG encoder. MPEG codecs are optimally supported in MPEG containers, not AVI.
