looking for the best encoder for xvid one with a gui that also can crop video like in handbreak

i just got a portable 8" tv that i bought off ebay for 19.93gbp free shipping to nz that came in the post yesterday

it only plays mpeg4 xvid divx mpeg2 mpeg1 and real video in .vob .mpg .mpeg .avi .mp4 .rm .rmvb max 720x576 16:9

i know rmvb has better compression then xvid in both sound and video but ive always have come across problems when trying to convert to rm/rmvb

so any help would be great

You could try Pazera Free MP4 Video Converter . There's a portable version, so you don't have to uninstall if you don't like it. I haven't tried it.

  3. AutoGK, VirtualDub. I'm pretty sure old versions of Handbrake and MeGUI had Xvid.

Current versions of MeGUI still has it, you just have to enable it. Can even download xvid presets.

  7. I didn't recommend AviDemux because it has too many crash and die bugs.
