Is there a good virtualdub filter chain for fixing videos that have very minor color casting?

It depends on the nature of the color cast. Not all color casts are the same, and the fix depends a LOT on the nature of the problem.

There is an absolutely amazing tool the StainlessS over at doom9.org just developed to fix color casts from faded film:

GamMac, Gamma Machine

What I'm looking for is something for VHS rips that look great except that they have some minor but noticeable color casting that might be related to chroma saturation. I also use an older computer with a mediocre video card that adds minor color casting to everything it rips, but it is only really noticeable on things that were VHS sourced

You could try Colormill:

Colormill Film Color Cast Corrections

This link shows it being used for film color cast removal, but it is a generic plugin and can be used to remove other types of casts. It is a free filter that works directly in VirtualDub.
