    It's a fan film but I'm pretty sure this wasn't shot with anything bought at Best Buy. What kind of camera would you guess it is? Why does the image look so different between the camera(s) used here and anything you'd find at a Boxmart?

    Probably was color graded too, which plays a big part in the "film look".

    I'm looking at the overall detail and presence. My Sony Cybershot point & shoot takes pretty decent 1080p video but I'm pretty sure I'd never get this kind of image out of it.

  5. The look has a lot more to do with knowing how to use the camera and lenses, and how to set up the lighting. Just buying a Red camera will not get you the same results.
