  1. Hi. The VOBs I'm working with at the moment comprise the main movie and an 'extra'. The main movie is 2h19m long and I'm trying to make a single VOB (I find single VOBs easier for editing/conversion). I used PgcDemux as per the first pic but it gave me two VOBs, one of 1h44m12s and one of 35m24s.

If I change the 'Mode' from 'PGC' to 'VOB id' you can see these approximate times (2nd pic).

Can someone tell me the reason I'm not getting a single VOB (of 2h19m) and if there is any way that I can?

My thanks for any help offered.

Not familiar with this program. Maybe the split is due to a 4 gb limitation.

  3. Thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't matter anymore. I've found that a better solution is VOB2MPG.

  4. It's because you checked the 'One file per VID' box. There are 2 VOB IDs making up the film. Uncheck it and you should get the entire movie. You came close to figuring it out yourself.

  5. Aha - there's me thinking VID meant 'video'! Thanks, manono.
