  1. Hi,

    (Capturing VHS tapes)
I bought EasyCup and it is working if I use "Composite".

Now I would like to use S-video - I have got S-video cable, I have got VCR with S-video output, I am still using Easy Cup (s-video cable connection).
I already changed the settings in Ulead Video Studio but it is not working.

I am sorry for my english, hope you know what I mean and I would really appreciate your help!!!
    Thank you.

On most combo units, S-Video OUT is for DVD playback only.

    S-Video connection (for DVD)
Connect the S-VIDEO OUT jack on this unit to the
S-Video in jack on the TV using the S-Video cable.

  6. Is it this case? Probably it is.
    Thank you.

And - is the difference between Composite and S-video really that visible? Is it worth it? spend lots of time to find out how to do it if i want to use s-video?(100%layman)
I was looking for some comparison on youtube but I have found just "video game animation" not any normal video...

You can look in stores or online for SCART to S-Video cables if you wish.
If you are in Europe there are plenty of good, quality S-VHS machines in Germany.

Just be careful.....your VHS machine's SCART connection may not be wired to output S-Video.
There are no guarantees on this.

Composite quality depends on the comb filter of the capture device. For the cheap "EasyCap" device I own, it's really bad.
