Hey all:
I'm looking to get involved in creating vcd's. Obviously, the only thing I need to get is a capture card. I'm running W2K and I'd like to find a card that is compatible with my OS. Could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
James

Your question's a bit broad. Do you want hardware-based realtime compression, need a TV tuner, need digital, etc.? What would you like to do with it? Search through existing forum messages, the capture card list, and then ask again what's not clear.

If you have the $ these are the 3 you can choose.
Pinnacle DV500plus around US$700.00
Canopus Storm DV around US$1500.00
Matrox RT2500 around US$900.00
These 3 accepts digital (DV/Firewire/IEEE1394/i-link) and analog input.
