  1. I have a hp laptop pavilion 15 - E052 and I reset/formatted the disk. I installed windows 7 but I dont have any drivers to install so I deal with some difficulties. First of all, it doesnt connect to the internet wirelessly. Troubleshooting doesnt help at all. I installed the driver of a tp-link usb (which im currently using on to my other, desktop pc) and i connected to the internet easily. I also tried to put a screensaver and it doesnt even show the preview of it, saying that i must update my video driver to the latest or something like that... So, the problem is that i miss the drivers... I went to the hp website to download drivers for my laptop model but all the downloads is the same file, a troubleshooting-problems fix-exe program. It didnt install anything else at all and its useless.. What can i do pls help its important

  4. You are doing it wrong, that is not what happens when you attempt to obtain drivers from a LEGIT company website, read the screen, do it again. TIP for the future, next time you intend to format a hard drive, EXPECT to lose all drivers and DL them first.

As to the download issue, when the download screen pops up, select "download only", NOT "use the download assistant". Although the assistant will work as well if you install it.

most laptops have a built-in hidden partition on the hard drive that contains a recovery image. too late for this laptop as by formatting the disc you deleted it, but for future reference you can restore most laptops to "out of the box" new condition by using the recovery option, it's usually f11 during boot up to bring up the menu.

  9. I just tried it and everything works fine. The individual drivers download uniquely; however, you need to read the first prompt and select just "download" because the default is to download the HP driver assistant (which would seem like the same file every time until the assistant got installed). Once done, each driver has a unique download name.
