    So I bought a set of HP 25GB BD-Rs, but when I load them into the BD-drive and open ImageBurn, I get the following error:

    What's going wrong here?

    The drive you have is only for cd / dvd media

    yes but it only writes to cd and dvd. https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-UJ-162-Blu-Ray-Player-BD-ROM/dp/B00ENXEOA2

    Start imgburn - Click mode - write then click tools - drive - capabilities to see what your drive
    Can read & write to.
