I might be going senile, or maybe I just haven't used this program in so long.

I am trying to make a little DVD thing for my folks. There are subtitles and I was wondering if it would be possible to create a sub menu to allow for turning subtitles on and off. The program recognized the subtitles as being related to the file even though they were not in the video container so I'm assuming that at this point there is some support for subtitles. I have completely forgotten how to navigate the menu editor (deleting/adding objects, deleting/adding pages to the menu, routing menu icons to different titles, etc.).

I was wondering if I could get some help remembering how to do this because the beginners guide either doesn't seem to mention it or it's buried under other questions in the thread (the latter is more likely, I gave up trying to find anything after reading through a bunch of questions that either weren't similar to mine or weren't answered).

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards.

  2. Avs2dvd does not offer a subtitles menu option (button) nor does it offer one for any additional audio tracks you may have.

However you could add "dummy" buttons and just relink what they point to afterwards with a program like pgcedit or dvdremakepro

    Or you could use DVDStyler.

Just know you should have the button on a VTSM (Titleset) menu and not a VMGM menu.

Well, it crashed the first time I used it, but now I've gotten it pretty well figured out and it has not crashed again. If I have any further questions, hopefully its support thread can help me.

DVDStyler worked great. I even managed to put a hidden segment on there (bonus footage) that can't be accessed by the main menu (gotta manually change titles to access footage). Fun little thing and it worked perfectly in our $25 Walmart special DVD player.
