I'm setting up a new computer, and downloaded MediaInfo from here. Thing is, it's a .7z file, and the file name says it has no installer built in.
My computer has no idea what to do with the thing. Doesn't know how to open/extract, nothing.
What am I doing wrong?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You looked nowhere else for an executable version?

You could always install 7zip (to handle 7z and zip, etc), then use it to open the MI archive. It's a good util to have - I do this on all my machines.

Thing is, I don't recall having to get that from anywhere in the past. The last few machines I've set up seemed to just be able to extract files on their own. Any idea why this current one doesn't have it from the time Windows was installed?
The only difference I can think of is that this one was a clean install of 10, whereas the others started as Windows 7 and were upgraded to 10. -
Win7 could open most rar files natively. I'm not sure about Win10.
