  1. I am trying to remove a credit roll that plays over footage at the end of a TV series. The text is white with a black shadow and every ending credit roll is unique, but played over the same footage. Is there any way to restore just the footage portions and ignore the text?

    I laid two credit sequences over each other with the blending mode set to Lighten and it does a fair job of removing the white text, however the shadow is more difficult.

    I have seen restoration methods that use multiple passes from the same video to restore detail and was wondering if something similar could be applied to this.

  2. You might be able to get a median filter to work if you have enough sources. But your sources all have different levels, framing, and zoom making it much harder.
