  1. I picked one of these up to record some video footage onto my PC via VirtualDub. However, nothing is showing up under Capture Devices in the capture settings in VirtualDub. I get video and audio via EzGrabber but I have no desire to capture using that software or lossy codecs. Can anyone suggest why the Diamond is not showing up in VirtualDub please?

Thank you for your time and efforts.

Are you using the 32 Bit Version (x86) of VirtualDub? You should.

What OS? Someone recently had the same problem on Win10 (no solution).

I'm now using AmaRecTV for uncompressed capture. Don't know if it will solve your problem, but for me it captures without the audio sync headaches of VirtualDub.

  7. I'll check that out, thank you. Are you using the VC500 with it?

  9. OK. No harm in my trying, I guess! I will post back later and let you know. Thanks for the suggestion, and have a great night.
