i just got a delta 12x dvd drive, and found that when i rip with smart ripper on my p2-300mhz, i get the following results
removing macrovision & region - 1.0x
unchecking those parameters yields - 4-6x
so... if i am going to flask this dvd from my hard drive and make into svcd, does it matter if i remove macrovision and regioncoding? doesn't flask ignore that stuff anyways?
thanks.
by the way, i get about 1.37 fps w/ flask. anybody beneath me?

I rip and covert with Flask direct from a DVD
With my New Duron 800 I get 6.19fps but still takes over 9 hours! -
so therefore, there really is no sense in demaccing and making the rip region free as long as im not burning onto dvdmedia?
