  1. Hi

    Could someone help me out? I want to convert a mov clip to an mpeg clip
    i do that conversion wit TMPGenc , but when i've done the conversion , there's no sound, how do i extract the audio ( wav ) from a mov clip , wich program? and where can i get it ?

  2. One option (the costly one) is to upgrade to Quicktime Pro. It will cost you $29.99. With Pro, you will be able to rip the sound into wav form. But, the upgrade is only for Quicktime 5, so when 6 comes out, you have to pay to upgrade again.

    Second option is to use Rad Video Tools (freeware) and convert to avi, then with TMPGEnc, convert to Mpg. You can find out how to do that on this site under this link: http://www.vcdhelp.com/mov2avi.htm

    Your third option is to actually record the audio while it plays from Quicktime with your built in Sound Recorder (only on Windows). This gets quite tricky because you have to perfectly line up the audio and video when you do convert to MPG.

    Those are all the options that I can think of right off the bat.
