PotPlayer - Screen becomes dimmer after 2 seconds of lecture

Hello
Love PotPlayer. But I have an issue: when I play a videofile, after a couple of seconds the screen becomes all the sudden less bright, dimmer.. I don't touch anything but this happens all the time. Tried to re-install the software but this did not fix the issue.
Any idea?

I suspect it's not Potplater's fault. Have you tried a different media player? While a "screen" could be any sort of display, some of them have a power saving feature that dims the screen after a certain period of inactivity. Does it become brighter again as soon as there's a substantial amount of movement in what's being displayed? A couple of seconds would be fairly enthusiatic power saving, but try checking the display's settings.
