MKV sucks hence I convert all either into avi or mp4 using Virtualdub or XMedia Recode.
But only the latter seems to be able to keep the subs in the output.
Virtualdubmod will not load mkv files at all containing subs ("only handle [S-TEXT] subs for the moment").
Extractors I found here so far - they either do not work, will keep you days for ocr checks
or leave rubbish which none of others programs like Subtitle Workshop can deal with.
Is there a plugin like texsub but the other way round and ideal where I may set style
and position too?
And if not - is there a more clever extractor for subs similar to Omnipage which does not force an
affirmation for each line i.e. where you can save all and uncorrected straight into a txt file for
spell checking with other editors like Word or else?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

cheers videobruger,
you made my day!
Now I'd like to strangle Google for giving me thousands of results in the first place but not that one... -
