I used Open Broadcaster some years ago. It worked fine.

Very easy stream software.

Accept virtually all capture cards (PCI, PCI-e, USB...).

Various scenes options, overlay is fine.

My son use this on Twitch.

I use it as a decent alternative to FRAPS to record my screen or a game, and save the video to my HDD instead of streaming. The x264 settings are customizable.
