    hey y'all
like the title says, is it possible to find audio and extract it from any kind of file?
for instance, im making a custom map from a game and there's a ton of audio i can use. i can select the audio track i want to use in the editor, but there's around 1000 or more files and i'd like an easier way of going through them all as the editor isn't that user friendly.
is there a way to search the map building and game folder for audio files that are compressed or grouped together in a single file, say dat or otherwise, and extract them?
    regards

Yes ... NO... Maybe... Since you didn't mention the game that someone might be familiar with, it's tough to say. Final fantasy was, WOW wasn't.
